Monday-Tuesday

On Monday there was really no change @ MCG. Ron overall is sleeping really well and recovering from his surgery on Saturday and also his small surgery on Monday which was to put a balloon in his leg to reduce the likelihood of a blood-clot. They are slowly taking him off the high doses of pain meds and reducing those. He is sitting upright in his bed and is patiently waiting to be transported to his own room at MCG. Once again, he will approximately be at MCG for another week and a half before being transported to Shepherd's in Atlanta.

  10. So glad to hear that you are going to Shepherd's, there is no place better for rehab. That is where Michael had his surgery and rehab. I will sing their praises forever!!! We are planning a trip to visit once you are at Shepherd, Michael is anxious to speak with you Ron and give encouragement or answer any questions you have. Praise God, lean on him and take it one day at a time!

  12. Been praying for your quick healing and that God with be with you every minute of this unexpected ordeal. I also pray for Tammy, knowing that when she needs a little more faith she will reach out first to our Savior which sent tons of angels to look after Ron. God has a plan for Ron and the family, still being with us is proof within itself.

  13. Hi Ron,
This is Elois Conner (Mitch and Matt's Mother). I pray you are getting better everyday. Ron even though you and I have a different medical condition, One thing for sure is that we have the same God. He has a plan for everyone, we don't know what it is, but he does. The unknown is what is so scary.

I would like to share this with you. When I was getting radiation they would put a hard mask on me and bolt it to the table so I wouldn't be able to move my head. I was terrified! I would close my eyes and visualize God standing next to me holding my hand. This was a great comfort and so real! Try it sometimes when you feel sick or discouraged. Always remember God Loves You!

    God Bless you Ron...

    Elois Conner
